As per the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ordinances promulgated by the Central Government on 24.05.2016, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST-II (UG), 2016 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The AIPMT-2016/NEET- I was conducted on 1 st May, 2016. NEET-II will be conducted on Sunday, the 24 th July, 2016. The judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Ordinances is uploaded on NEET website.

The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Counseling Authorities and Admitting Institutions.

    Eligibility
    1. Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible for appearing in the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST-II (UG), 2016.
    2. The candidate must have completed age of 17 years at the time ofadmission or will complete the age on or before 31st December, 2016 of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Course.
    3. The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats in Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Government, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana is 25 years as on 31st December, of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Schedules Tribes/Other Backward Classes.
    4. The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission in MBBS/BDS seats under the control of States/Universities/Institutions shall be as per the rules of the State/University/Institution concerned.
    5. The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are appearing in Class XII examination in 2016 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.
    6. Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J &K are not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats as these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. However, they are eligible to appear in NEET-II for admission in Private Medical/Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University and AFMC, Pune.

    • Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE.
    • Online submission of application may be made by accessing the Board’s website www.aipmt.nic.in Instructions for submitting online application and payment of fee are available on website.
    • Candidates may remit the fee in the following manner:
    1. Through any Debit/Credit Card using on-line gateway payment facility or
    2. Through e-Challan by depositing fee in CBSE’s Bank Account maintained by Syndicate Bank, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank directly by downloading the e-Challan Form from the website of www.aipmt.nic.in. (For candidates deciding to pay fee through e-Challan, last date for submission of online application is 21st June, 2016.)

Terms and Conditions

WHO CAN APPLY IN NEET-II
As per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 09.05.2016, in Writ Petition (C) No.261 of 2016 and other connected matters, following candidates can apply in NEET-II:

  1. Left out candidates who could not register in AIPMT-2016/NEET-I.
  2. Candidates who were registered in AIPMT-2016/NEET-I but could not appear in NEET-I.
  3. Candidates who were registered in AIPMT-2016/NEET-I and had appeared but have apprehension that they had not prepared well subject to submission of an undertaking to give up their candidature for NEET-I

RESERVATION OF SEATS & ADMISSION IN MEDICAL/DENTAL COLLEGES
1. An All India merit list and All India Rank of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test and candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS courses from the said list only by following the Existing Reservation Policies.
2. All admission to MBBS/BDS courses within in the respective categories shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.
3. All other existing eligibility criteria for admission to Medical/Dental Colleges shall be applicable as per Rules and Policies of the State/UT/Institution/University concerned. COMMON SERVICES CENTRES/FACILITATION CENTRES Candidates if need be, may take the assistance of Common Services Centres for filling up the application form. The details of the common services centres are given on the website www.aipmt.nic.in

The Information Bulletin containing detailed information of test, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear/admission, reservation, examination fee, cities of examinations, State Code of eligibility, Age, etc. is available on website www.aipmt.nic.in. Candidates may, therefore, check all the detailed information in the online Information Bulletin before submission of application form.
