About The Program

Merit-Cum-Means Minority Scheme is for the students who belong to the minority communities of Odisha, ie. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsi) and Jain.

These are some criteria which should be followed:

  • Total family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
  • Must secure above 50% in previous exams.
  • The income or the minority community certificates must be issued by Magistrate (S.D.M, Tehsildar or self-declare by students/parents)

Candidates who are pursuing technical/professional courses at undergraduate/postgraduate level are eligible to apply.

The application can be done online only.

Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions:

  • The annual family's income is not more than 2.5 lakh.
  • Secured minimum 50% marks in the previous examination.
  • The Income Certificate and Minority Community should be issued by Magistrate(S.D.M/Tehsildar or Self Declaration) if not, the application will be not concluded.
  • Aadhar Card Number is mandatory.
  • Students have to fill their own Bank Account Number and it should be Aadhar enabled.
  • 30% of scholarship is reserved for Girls Students.
