Means cum Merit Scholarship, Assam 2017, invites application for the applicants pursuing a full-time general degree course in Arts/Science/Commerce discipline in Government/ Provincialised colleges of Assam admitted for the session 2016-2017 and they must be domicile of Assam with the aim of providing one-time assistance to the poor but meritorious students of the State to pursue their higher studies. The selected applicants will get Rs 1000 per month.

- Applicants pursuing a full-time general degree course in Arts/Science/Commerce discipline in Government/provincialised colleges of Assam admitted for the session 2016-2017.
- The family annual income must be within Rs 2,50,000.
- The applicants must secure 60% or above marks in the higher secondary final examination.

Documents to be required:
- PRC Voter ID Certificate from DC/Circle Officer/Block Officer as proof of domicile of State of Assam.
- Bonafide certificate from the college authority.
- Income certificate of parents from circle officer.
- 12th final mark sheet.
- Self-declaration certificate of not availing any other scholarship.
- 1st page of Bank passbook displaying Bank Name, IFSC Code, Account Holder Name, Account Name.
