Mathematics Summer Research Fellowship Programme Chennai 2017 is providing an opportunity to the students of graduation and post graduation to pursue advanced studies in areas of mathematics of interest by the faculty members and will get accommodation and travel allowance. This programme is for the motivated students interested in mathematics and duration of the programme can range from 3-8 weeks and is to be decided based on the availability of the student and faculty mentor.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Students studying in the pre-final or final year of BSc/BE/BTech are eligible to apply.
- Students of 1st year MSc/ME/MTech or equivalent are eligible to apply.
How can you apply? The application can be done online with the following steps:
Step 1: Fill the application form.
Step 2: Enter personal details, correspondence information.
Step 3: Fill the education details.
Step 4: Upload the grade card, give referee details.
Step 5: Submit.
Terms and Conditions
Details:
- The duration of the programme can range from 3-8 weeks and is to be decided based on the availability of the student and faculty mentor.
- Selected students will be paid 2nd class round trip train fare plus Rs. 200 per diem.
- Every effort will be made to provide accommodation, subject to availability. As accommodation is limited, it may not be provided for local students.
- The programme is typically held in the summer, but in exceptional cases, the visit can be scheduled at other times, depending on the convenience of the student and faculty member.The first round of offer letter will be sent by 20th March.
- The next round of offer letters may be expected to be sent by 30th April.
- A per diem of Rs 200 and train travel 2nd class round trip will be provided to selected students, in addition to hostel accommodation for outstation students.
