What is Mani Mann Fellowship 2017-18?

Sanskriti Foundation invites applications for the Mani Mann Fellowship 2017-18 for the young musician of age group 25 to 40 years. The objective of this fellowship is to encourage promising young artists to excel in their field. The duration of the fellowship will be 1 year in which applicant has to live with the guru and take guidance from him only. 

Who can apply for this scholarship ?

  • Age of 25 to 40 years is eligible to apply.
  • The applicant must hold a degree/diploma from a recognized university or institution in the field and/or the applicant should have at least 10 years of initial training in Indian classical music.
  • The applicant would be required to have given at least 2-3 solo performances to his/her credit in recognized forums.

How can you apply ?

The application can be done by email or by post with the following steps:
Step 1: Write up in about 500 words explaining the project.
Step 2: Attach an updated CV of yours.
Step 3: Write full postal address and contact number.

Terms and Conditions

Terms:

  • The duration of the fellowship will be 1 year.
  • The grant of INR 100000 will be given in 2 phases, the 1st installment at the commencement of the award and the 2nd installment after the submission of complete project report when the applicant may be requested to give a vocal recital.
  • A short mid-term progress report will be required.

Agreement:

  • The applicant will have to sign an agreement with Sanskriti Pratishthan pertaining to a regular flow of work during the fellowship period. The applicant should not be holding another fellowship or working on any other project at the same time.
  • All applicants should email their CV and a short synopsis of their project proposal to the head office address.
