The applications are invited for the KSCSTE Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) 2017 from candidates who wish to pursue post doctoral degree in Science and Engineering. It is a 2 years full-time research fellowship in the relevant subject areas. The main objective is to motivate PhD holders to pursue research, to develop the career as scientists and to develop technical and leadership skills.

- Applicant must have a PhD degree in Science or Engineering
- Applicant has published at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed Journal (SCI- journal) or one national patent
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 40 years as on 1st January 2017.
How can you apply? The application can be done by post only by following these steps:
Step 1: Download the application form from here
Step 2: Enclose copies of certificates, training, age, educational qualifications, achievements, publications etc.
Step 3: Write the address, contact number and email id.
Step 4: An undertaking from Head of any of the recognized Research Centres/ Departments/ Institutions.
Step 5: Application form along with all the enclosures should reach The Director, KSCSTE, Sasthra Bhavan, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 004 on or before 26 August 2017.

Terms and Conditions
- The period of PDF will not exceed 2 years.
- The applicants will be selected on the basis of assessment of the PhD work, evaluation of the proposed project and personal interview.
