What is Korean Government Scholarship 2017?

Korean Government Scholarship 2017 is to provide 8 scholarships to the students of graduation, post graduation, PhD, post-doctoral for higher education in Korea and to promote international exchange in education, as well as mutual friendship amongst the participating countries. The scholarship will start from 1st September 2017 to study at 65 universities as designated by NIIED (National Institute for International Education). There are 4 subjects fields: Korean Language, International Relations, Biotechnology, Electronic Engineering. The scholarship covers full tuition fee, settlement, monthly, research allowances, training fee, medical insurance.

Who can apply for this scholarship ?

Age:

  • Students applying for Master's/Doctoral should be under 40 years of age as of 1st September 2017.
  • Students who are working as a professor should be under 45 years of age as of 1st September 2017.

Qualification:
Required qualifications for this scholarship:

  • Master's: Students must hold a Bachelor's degree as of 31st August 2017.
  • Doctoral: Students must hold a Master's degree as of 31st August 2017.
  • Postdoctoral: Students must hold a Doctoral degree or a diploma equivalent to a Doctoral degree.

65% or more for the Biotechnology and Electronic Engineering.
