Kobayashi Research Grants in Humanities and Social Sciences 2017 is providing a support for research activities enrolled in a doctoral course at foreign students in Japan by the fund established by the late Shintaro Kobayashi's virtue of the first president I have come. Sincerely hope that human resources supporting the Asia-Oceania region of the 21st century will be nurtured by utilising the subsidy of the foundation for as many researchers as possible.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Students studying at graduate school as doctoral students, or who have finished doctoral courses and continue to study to obtain a doctoral degree as of February 28, 2017, are eligible to apply.
- Students who receive a letter of recommendation from their supervisors.
- Students who are majoring in Humanities and Social science.
