About The Program

The Sanskriti Pratisthan invites applications for Sanskriti - Kalakriti Fellowship 2018 from young artists of age group 25 to 40 years. The key objective of the fellowship is to encourage young artists to enhance and develop their skills by incorporating different facets of their art and intensive practice. It would be a residency programme for a period of three months, which can be spread over the period of ten months.

To be eligible for the fellowship, an applicant must -

  • Be a young performing artist belonging to the age group of 25 to 40 years. 
  • Have obtained initial training of at least 10 years in Indian classical dance. 
  • Have given at least 2 to 3 solo performances at recognized forums.

 

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship through following steps -
Step 1: Create a 2-page CV containing complete contact details (including postal address, telephonic details and email-id). 
Step 2: Provide samples of previous work, performance or project. 
Step 3: Write a short synopsis explaining the project in about 500 words. 
Step 4: Add the name and contact details of two referees. 
Step 5: Send the completed application either by post or by email with title/subject - 'Sanskriti - Kalakriti Fellowship' to -

More Details
Terms and Conditions
  • The selected fellows will receive a grant of INR 50,000 under this scheme. 
  • The fellowship is tenable for ten months. 
  • The fellowship will be given in two instalments in which the first instalment (INR 25,000) will be given at the commencement of fellowship that also requires the candidates to submit a mid-term progress report. 
  • The second instalment (INR 25,000) will be given after the submission of completed project report.
