AIT Japanese Government Scholarships 2017 invites application for the applicants who hold a four-year graduation's degree and a post graduation's degree, preferably with a combination of course and thesis work, from an institution of good standing. This scholarship is offering Doctoral degree in the field of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (RS-GIS) of School of Engineering and Technology (SET) and it covers tuition and registration fees, bursary and accommodation costs, Visa fee, Medical insurance, One round-trip international air travel economy class, Research support, Student Union fee as a scholarship.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Applicants have excellent academic records (both undergraduate and graduate) and normally hold a four-year graduation's degree and a post graduation's degree, preferably with a combination of course and thesis work, from an institution of good standing, acceptable to AIT.
- The minimum GPA is 3.50 or equivalent at the post graduation's degree level.
- Submit a brief outline of dissertation research proposal including the required research facilities, if necessary.
- Receive a written confirmation that a faculty member at AIT is available and willing to supervise.
How can you apply? The application can be done online or by post with the following steps:
Online:
Step 1: Select 'I want to fill a new application online' and continue.
Step 2: The application of 12 sections will open.
Step 3: Fill all the sections.
Step 4: Upload documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee of US $20.
Step 6: Submit.By post:
Step 1: Download the form.
Step 2: Print files on A4 size paper.
Step 3: Complete the form.
Step 4: The application fee US $20 may be paid by bank draft, valid credit card or cash and should be made payable to the 'Asian Institute of Technology'.
Step 5: Send it to the given address:Admissions and Scholarships Unit
