About The Program

We are pleased to report that London Metropolitan University is putting forth a sum of £15,000 research concede to part support and contribute towards educational cost charges of a successful PhD student (MPhil/PhD).
£5,000 every year will be paid towards educational cost charges for the term of three years for a full-time understudy, subject to effective movement. Alternatively, £2,500 every year will be paid towards educational cost charges for the term of three years for two low maintenance understudies, subject to fruitful movement. The School of Computing and Digital Media is offering either one full-time or two part-time partial fees waiver-only scholarships for the successful applicants. The PhD Scholarship will start in February 2017.

Home/EU and international applicants are eligible. Applicants should not currently be registered for a postgraduate research degree. The following areas of research are offered for PhD scholarships:

Applications are invited in the areas of:

  • penetration testing automation
  • identity resolution
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • cryptography
  • steganography 
How can you apply?

To apply for a PhD Scholarship, please write a five-page research proposal with five to 10 references.

You must also:

  • download and complete the MPhil/PhD Application Form and MPhil-PhD Referee Form{ please look them in help/download section below}
  • read the PhD in IT Security - Guidelines
