What is IRDP Scholarship Scheme 2017?

The Government of Himachal Pradesh has announced IRDP Scholarship Scheme 2017 for the students belonging to IRDP families and studying in 9th to University level, provided they are pursuing their study in Govt. / Govt. Aided Institutions in H.P. 

Who can apply for this scholarship ?

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-

  • Belong to IDRP families.
  • Be studying in Class 9 to University level.Note- An applicant must be pursuing their students in Govt./Govt. Aided Institutions in H.P.
  • Have domicile of Himachal Pradesh.

How can you apply ?

The application can be done online only by following these steps:

Step 1: Log on to the website and read all the details of the scheme.
Step 2: Click on Student Login section.
Step 3: Click on Click here and register for New user registration.
Step 4: Select the scheme.
Step 5: Choose Yes for Aadhar number. Note- Aadhaar / UID is mandatory.
Step 6: Now fill other basic details and register.
Step 7: Login again by entering "Login Id/ AADHAAR & Password", and click on "Login"
Step 8: The student needs to fill the various details in the following order:

  • Primary
  • Candidate
  • Present Institution
  • Contact Details
  • Bank Details
  • Certificates Details

Step 9: Take a printout of Online Application Form and submit the same along with the Scheme Specific Document(s) to the respective Institution.

FAQs

Q. Can a student edit the information already saved and up to what time? 

A. Yes, the student can edit information filled until they finalize and submit the online application. 

Q. How can a student open his/her saved application for editing? 

A. Go to the "Student Login" option and then log in through respective username and password to continue editing of the application.

Terms and Conditions

  • Documents Required-
    • Passport Size Photo.
    • AADHAAR Card(UID / EID No).
    • Himachali Bonafide Certificate.
    • Previous Year(s) Result Card(s).
    • Latest Bank Statement of the Students Bank Account.
    • IRDP / BPL Certificate (Issued by an officer, not below the rank of Panchayat Secretary).
  • The printed copy of the Online Scholarship Form (after successful online submission of form), along with all requisite documents, needs to be submitted by the student to his / her Head of the Institute, who will retain it in the institution.
  • The Institution will forward the duly attested printed form (after successful online verification) along with the Verified Candidate List(s) (in the prescribed format) to the concerned DDHE (in case of Govt. Schools) & to this Directorate (in case of University), for online verification & cross-checking.
  • After successful online verification, the DDHE shall retain the hard copies of the students of Private Recognized Institution(s), and return the remaining forms to the concerned schools. The DDHE also need to forward the Verified Candidate List(s) in r/o their respective district(s) to this Directorate.
  • The Govt. Colleges (within the state) need to forward only the Verified Candidate List(s) (in the prescribed format) to this Directorate. 

Award details-

  • The boy student of 9th and 10th will get Rs. 300 per annum and girl student of 9th and 10th will get INR 600 per annum.
  • The girl and boy students of 11th  and 12th  will get INR 800 per annum.
  • The day scholars of college/university will get INR 1200 per annum and hostellers will get INR 2400 per annum.
