About The Program

The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine has introduced the International Physician Scholarship for physicians residing in low and middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank) to provide them access to quality education.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

The candidates fulfilling the following eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarship -

  • Must be a physician working in hospice and palliative medicine.
  • Must reside in low and middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank. 
  • Must be a member of AAHPM. 
  • Must not have attended any previous Annual Assembly.
  • Must have at least 2 to 10 years of experience in palliative care. 

 

How can you apply?

In order to apply for the scholarship, the candidates need to follow below given step online -
Step 1: Prepare the CV (maximum 2-page limit)
Step 2: Prepare one-page letter of recommendation and support on organization's letterhead from the supervisors or person of authority
Step 3: Apply through any of the following methods -
a) Fill online form here
