DESCRIPTION

International Informatics Olympiad 2017 (iiO) invites applications for a test of competence and knowledge in Computer Science. The test will be conducted annually at the national and international level based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE and the State Boards. The iiO recommends the competition for each and every student who is Studying Computer Science as their subject in the school at the school and can win a cash prize up to Rs 100000, gift, certificate, etc.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Students of class 1 to 12 are eligible to apply.

HOW TO APPLY

The application can be done through their respective schools only. The participation fee is Rs 120 per student, out of which Rs 20 shall be retained by the school as its expenses towards honorarium of the invigilator and other expenses like postal expenses, DD charges and photocopying, etc.

MORE INFORMATION

The mode of exam is English only and objective type which is being conducted for class 1 to 12. For class 1-2 there will be 40 questions and the duration will be of 60 minutes. For class 3-12 there will be 50 questions and the duration will be of 60 minutes. There is no negative marking.

The first level Olympiad will be conducted on 7th November 2017 and 30th November 2017, you can choose any one of these two dates. The exam center will be the school itself for level one and two and the result of the first level will publish in the month of January 2018 and the result of the second level will publish in the month of February 2018. The awards and prizes will be sent directly to the school within 3-4 weeks after the announcement of the result. The level 3 will be conducted in the Month of July/August 2018 at New Delhi.
