INSEAD Deepak and Sunita Gupta Endowed Scholarship 2019-20 is inviting applications from MBA aspirants who have limited financial means. The endowed scholarship fund was created targeting students from emerging markets with an intention to help build human capacity and to create economic and social value in the most economically challenged regions of the world. Outstanding candidates with limited financial means will be granted scholarships and the fund will enable INSEAD to continue to attract diverse candidates onto the MBA Programme.

    Eligibility

    An applicant must -

    • Be enrolled in the INSEAD MBA program
    • Belong to an emerging/developing nation
    • Demonstrate proven financial need
    Benefits

    Selected applicants will be provided with financial assistance of up to EUR 25,000 for their MBA program.

    • Proof of salary (a letter from the employer or last salary slip)
    • Bank statement of last three months
    • An essay (written as specified) 
    How can you apply?

    Eligible candidates can apply online through following steps -

    Step 2: Once registered, log in using registered user id and password. 
    Step 3: Fill in all required details. 
    Step 4: Upload supporting documents. 
    Step 5: Finally submit the application form. 

    Note: For July 2020 round of selection, the application window will open on 11 February 2019.

Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of financial need of the students.

Terms and Conditions
  • The essay should be submitted for INSEAD Diversity Scholarships in max 300 words.
  • The essay should cover the following questions:
    • Applicants' biography which includes an account of early years i.e. where they grew up and primary and secondary schools attended etc.
    • A description of how the applicants envisage contribution to the future developments of their country/region after graduation.
    • Why INSEAD MBA is relevant to their future career development?
    • Describe financial circumstance and budget for the year spent in INSEAD.
    • How do the applicants expect to finance their studies if they do not obtain a scholarship from INSEAD?
    • Why INSEAD should consider their application? 
    • What amount do they consider appropriate?
  • To be eligible for INSEAD Alumni Fund Robin Hood Scholarship, the applicant should write an essay (max 350 words) by giving the main reason for application.
    • They will be required to lead an on-campus campaign.
    • They will need to state how they will get involved and make peers participate.
    • What are their ideas for the campaigns?
  • To also become eligible for IAF special profile scholarship, they will need to write an essay (max 300 words).
    • Briefly describing instance or aspect in their life that has made them stand out amongst their peers.
    • Outlining how would they help others if get successful in their career?
