About The Program

Indian Intelligence Test, an initiative of Jagran Group and Sigrid Education, will identify the intelligence type of each child so that most suited learning method is used and eventually the best career option is selected. It will also identify the scholastic abilities of participants of this test and reward the meritorious students.

The test is divided into two parts:

1. Multiple Intelligence Test: This test will find out child's intelligence type. In this section there will be some statements for which the students will select an option from given options according to their own preferences and views. No preparation is required.

Example:

Statement: I can play a musical instrument.
Options: 1. Mostly disagree, 2. Slightly disagree, 3. Slightly agree, 4. Mostly agree On the basis of the answers provided by students for these questions, we will tell the intelligence type of the individual.

2. Scholastic Aptitude Test: Students will need to answer fundamental questions related to subjects covered for their respective standards. The questions will be 100 MCQ type with single option correct. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.

Eligibility
Students of class 5 to 12 of any board can participate. The test will be conducted in English and Hindi medium.

Syllabus
Questions of Math and Science subjects will be from current and previous class syllabus. The question paper will be the same for all education boards. Mental Ability requires logical approach to solve problems and doesn't have a specific syllabus. General Knowledge shall cover questions ranging from a variety of fields like politics, sports, current affairs, books and authors, famous places and people, history, geography, basic sciences etc.

The question paper shall have below weightage of questions:

What is the process for registration of a school?

Schools can register by clicking here or by calling us on 7505-666-000. Our representatives shall also visit some schools and register them. Our team will validate school data if it's registered from website and only after our confirmation, registration process will be deemed complete.

What is the process for student registration via school?

The process is given below:

  • Students can fill up physical registration forms by obtaining the same from school's teacher coordinator.
  • Students will need to provide details and upload photograph if done from web/ paste photograph if physical form.
  • Students will pay their teacher coordinator Rs. 100 in cash for the form or coupon code.

What is the process for student registration individually?

The process is given below:

When is Indian Intelligence Test?

Test Date: 10 April 2016 (Individual Registrations), 19 April 2016 (Registration via Schools)

Where can I participate?

You can participate either through your school or register individually. Test centre for students registering via school will be their school itself and test centre for students who register online will be informed immediately after making payment of the registration fee. Students who fill up the form offline as individuals will be informed about their test centre on or before 05 April 2016.

Indian Intelligence Test is not being conducted in my school. What can I do?

You may request your school to participate in Indian Intelligence Test. You may also provide contact details of school’s principal or a senior teacher and our team will contact them. You can also participate individually in any of the mentioned cities.

What is the fees to participate?

Participation fees is Rs. 150 for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and Rs. 100 for all other states

What is the examination pattern and duration?

Duration of the test will be 120 minutes. In Aptitude section, there will be 100 questions in the distribution mentioned below. In Multiple Intelligence Section, there will be 40 questions. All questions will be MCQ type with only one correct answer.

What will be the language/ medium of question paper?

Medium of question paper shall be English or Hindi, based on the option selected by school/ student while registering.

Can I opt for English medium paper if my school has selected Hindi medium (or vice versa)?

No. Students participating through schools cannot select medium. They will be allotted question papers in the medium decided by their schools. Students registering individually can decide medium as per their choice.

When will be the result declared?

This information shall be available on the website and Dainik Jagran & i next newspapers once test is over.

Who will receive certificates?

All the students who appear for the test shall receive certificates of participation. Students who secure merit ranks shall receive certificates of appreciation.

If I register for the test but do not appear for it, will I get certificate?

No. Students who do not appear for the test or are declared disqualified will not receive certificate.

How can a student be disqualified from the test?

Any student who uses unfair means in the test shall be disqualified. Students can also be disqualified if they provide incorrect or incomplete information in their registration forms or OMR sheets.

Who will receive prizes?

Students who secure All India Rank 1 in their respective class shall receive a tablet PC. Students who get All India Rank 1 to 80 in their respective class shall receive Educational Packages/ devices.

Who will get higher merit rank if two or more students get same marks?

Student who attempted minimum incorrect answers will get a higher merit rank. If two students get same marks and attempted same number of incorrect answers, student scoring higher marks in the most difficult subject (i.e. subject in which the average percentage score of entire class was lowest) will get a higher merit rank.

What will be the test timing of Indian Intelligence Test?

Students who registered as individuals can take the test on 10 April 2016 from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm. And students who registered through their schools can take the test on 19 April 2016. Timings will be informed by respective schools.

I'm currently in class 9 but will be in class 10 on the test date. Which class should i write in my registration form?

You should write class 9 only in your registration form. You will have to mention class 9 in your OMR answer sheet and you will get a question paper of class 9 only. All students have to write the class they are in the academic session 2015-16, i.e. their class till academic session ending in March 2016. Since the students will just be entering a new class during test date, syllabus for test will be of their previous class only.
