Applications are invited from academically outstanding Indian students to study for a postgraduate taught Master's programme at Imperial College London. Scholarships are available for Indian nationals residing in India, generously provided by the alumni and supporters of the Imperial College India Foundation.

For entry in 2016, there are two funded Master’s scholarships available.

The College invites applications for study in the following departments: Aeronautics, Bioengineering, Centre for Environmental Policy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computing, Earth Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Life Sciences, Materials, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Imperial College Business School.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for a Scholarship candidates must:

    1. have applied to study on a postgraduate taught Master's programme in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences or Imperial College Business School, having applied through the normal application process;
    2. display intellectual ability and leadership potential; and be committed to engaging with society and using their abilities to contribute to India on their return
    3. be deemed in need of financial support in order the pursue their studies
    4. have an adequate standard of English, ie.e at least 6.5 in IELTS;
    5. demonstrate an intention to return to India within three (3) years of completing the degree at the College.
    How can you apply?
    1. Candidates apply directly to the College using the standard Registry application process.
    2. After candidates have completed a College application they can apply for the scholarship through the online form.  The deadline for the online form to be completed is 8 March 2016.
    3. Imperial shortlists eligible candidates, based on the online scholarship form and their College application.
    4. Candidates will be informed of the results of their scholarship application by the end of April 2016.

Terms and Conditions

Please note, if shortlisted, candidates will be required to submit a copy of their own/their parents' tax returns. Candidates will have one week to submit these details. This will be used as evidence of financial need.
