ICMR is amongst the foremost research organizations in the field of Bio-Medical Sciences. It offers Visiting Fellow Scheme 2017 for creating and nurturing talent in many disciplines such as communicable and non-communicable diseases, basic medical sciences, reproductive health including nutrition, human resource developments etc to foster high-quality research opportunities.
ICMR offers five fellowships every year. These fellowships will be allocated by Director General, ICMR, depending upon the needs of the Institute /Centre.
The tenure will be of three years and can be extendable for two more years based on outstanding performance and recommendations.

- Age must be 45 years or less, relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates
How can you apply? The application can be done by post only. Application for ‘ICMR – Visiting Fellow Scheme’ should clearly be written on top of the envelope along with the application form.
