GREEN Olympiad Examination 2017 invites application for the students of class 4 to 10 for an examination of environmental issues. The examination is designed innovatively to test the knowledge of students and also educate and sensitize them in the process. One of its kind in India, the GREEN Olympiad asks questions on air and water pollution, environment-friendly initiatives and practices, land and water resources, forests, wildlife, oceans, socio-economic aspects of natural resources, global climate change, and the roles of society to improve our environment. The selected students can win certificates of participation, merit and distinction certificates to top performers, the cash award for state toppers.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility Students from class 4 to 10 are eligible to apply.
How can you apply? The application can be done through schools only:
- Each school will be a center for its registered students and can nominate any number of students for this examination at each level. However, the participation of a minimum number of 10 students per level is mandatory.
- Each participating student has to pay Rs 75 as registration fee to his/her school. After deducting Rs 5 per student (towards expenditure for conducting the examination in their school premises), a school has to pay the total registration fee (i. e. Rs. 70/- x number of participating students) through a Bank Draft drawn in favor of TERI, payable at New Delhi. Online mode of payment also available. Cash/cheque will not be accepted. Terms and Conditions
Important:
- Students from schools affiliated to a recognized education board/trust can participate in this examination.
- This registration form is applicable for 3 Levels (students from classes 4 to 10).
- One teacher per level can be nominated - i.e. if the school is participating in 3 levels, 3 teachers can be nominated. Please put a ', ' after each name.
- All students will receive a certificate of participation, merit or distinction depending on their individual performance. Schools/students who excel in this examination will also be felicitated. Coordinating teachers will also receive certificates from TERI. More information related to awards/incentives and other updates are available on the project website.
- The student's data uploaded by using this template will be used for attendance sheet and certificate as well.
- Examination material will be delivered directly to schools.
- Registered schools will receive introductory preparation material from TERI.
