Gitam Admission Test (GAT) 2016

1.Carefully read the GAT-2016 information brochure before you proceed to apply online. You can either download a copy of the brochure or read it online.

2.Read and understand all the instructions and eligibility criteria for admission before proceeding to fill the online application form.

3.You are advised to take a print out of these instructions so that you can refer to the same while filling the form.

4.Registration Fee: The registration fee for GAT-2016 is Rs. 1,000/- for Boys and Rs. 600/- for Girls.

5.Online Application Procedure: It involves 3 steps process to be followed as stated below:

Step 1: Fill the Online Application Form:

The candidate should furnish all the details while filling the Online Application Form. After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated and this can be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form and also for yourfuture correspondence.

Step 2: Upload of Photograph:

Upload your recent passport size color photograph (Not older than 3 months).
The scanned image of photograph should be in jpg format only.
Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 50 kb.
Dimension of photograph image should be 4 cm (width) x 4 cm (Height) only.
NOTE: There is an access to modify / change the details entered in the application from before the payment of registration fee. Once the payment of the registration fee is done, details of the candidate already entered cannot be modified / change.

Step 3: Payment of Registration Fee:
Payment by Debit Card /Credit Card/Net banking:
The candidate has to select Debit Card /Credit Card/ Net Banking option to pay the registration fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee. After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the acknowledgment page.

Payment by Debit Card /Credit Card/Net banking will be activated from 5th December 2015 onwards

Payment by Demand Draft:

After filling the application form online, you are required to take two copies of print-out of the filled-in application form.Send a copy of the filled-in application along with Demand Draft (Rs. 1000/- for Boys or Rs. 600/- for Girls) drawn in favor of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank by Registered post / Speed post / Courier to the

Write the application number on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. You should keep the second copy with you for your reference.
Your online registration for GAT-2016 will be successful only when the completed form along with the Demand Draft is received by the DIRECTOR-ADMISSIONS on or before 2nd April 2016.

6.If you do not have a printer attached to the computer, Click here to print your registered application form. Enter application number for taking print out of the application form at a later stage.

7.For best view use Internet Explorer while filling the application online, do not use the 'Back' button on the tool bar of your browser. Use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another. Further, when you have completed the application process, close all the open browser windows so that others cannot copy your personal details.

8.When you are ready to apply online, you can click on the I Agree button given below.
