Instituted in 2008 to offer the best academic and career prospects to meritorious students from around the world, the GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship programme has become a benchmark of the finest among its kind.
The "No bond attached" GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship is offered to Class 10 academic toppers from around the world to study Junior College (11th and 12th) in either CBSE or IB Diploma at GIIS Queenstown Campus in Singapore.
The scholarship amount is $90,000* per student, which includes tuition fees, boarding, lodging and travel expenses for the two-year scholarship programme.
The scholarship amount includes a onetime return airfare & visa fee, tuition fee, and boarding & lodging at the hostel, one-time settling allowance and pocket allowance per month for daily expenses.

Programme Manager β GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship
GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship 2014 will be awarded to students attending senior secondary level (Classes 11 and 12) for either CBSE or IB Diploma programme for the academic session 2014 β 2016. The scholarship worth S$90,000* for each student will be sponsored by the Global Schools Foundation. This will include tuition fees and boarding expenses, one-time return airfare from India to Singapore. Subsidised medical benefits will also be provided. No bond is attached to GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship.
- CBSE β 9th Final and 10th Pre Board β A1 Grades in all subjects
- ICSE β 9th Finalβ 90% and 10th Pre Board β 85% in Aggregate
- IGCSE β9th Final and Pre Board 10th β A Grades and above in all subjects with extended curriculum
- State Board β 9th Final - 90% and 10th Pre Board β 85% in Aggregate
Other Eligibility Criteria
- English should be the medium of instruction
- Written test will include General ability, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics and English
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test in end March 2014. Candidates, who successfully clear the written test, would be called for interviews in end May/early June 2014
- Board exam mark sheets should be provided on declaration of results
- Selected students would be expected to leave for Singapore by end June 2014
Written tests will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Indore, Surat, Ahmedabad, Pune and Noida
