Details:
- The Olympiad will be conducted every year in two phases:
- Phase 1: Students will participate at their respective schools throughout the country, during the month of December.
- Phase 2: Students with high scores, based on cut-off will be invited to the National Finals in April.
- Phase I is a written test with 40 multiple choice questions for Sub Junior category and 50 multiple choice questions for Junior and Senior category. There will be a different question paper, for each category.
- There will be NO negative point for any incorrect answer. The students will be awarded one point for the correct answer and zero for an incorrect answer. The duration to complete the test is 1 hour.
- The language medium of the Olympiad will be English.
Awards:
- All students appearing for the Level 1 exam will be rewarded with a participation certificate
- Rank 1,2 & 3 at the school level under each category will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively and a Merit certificate. However, if the School Rank is 1,2 or 3 but the percentage marks are not satisfactory, then medal is not rewarded
- Students selected for National Finals (Level 2) will be rewarded with the National Finalist trophy. Rank 1, 2 and 3 will be rewarded with Laptop, Digital Camera and Wrist Watch respectively
- Participating schools will be rewarded with the School Participation trophy
- School Coordinators and Principal will be rewarded with a Certificate of Appreciation
