About The Program

Facebook Grace Hopper Scholarship 2018 invites applications from women pursuing a degree program in Computer Science at any university. The scholarship aims to promote women in the field of technology and give 50 deserving candidates a chance to spend time with Facebook engineers in an event to be organized in the United States.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • A women applicant must be enrolled in a Computer Science degree program at any university.
  • The first year Post-Doctorate women students in the same field are also eligible for this scholarship.
Benefits
  • The selected candidates will get paid travel and lodging to attend the event at Texas, United States.
  • This paid trip will also include pre-Grace Hopper Celebration program in Houston that includes tech talks, mentoring sessions and networking events from September 23-29, 2018.
  • An invitation will also be given to attend a private reception with Facebook's Engineering Team during the Grace Hopper Celebration.
  • An additional meal stipend will also be provided.

Terms and Conditions
  • You can return or update your application form till 29 June 2018
  • The scholarship recipients are required to be available to attend Facebook and conference activities between Sunday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 29th.
  • The Facebook is not liable for travel Visa approvals for international recipients.
  • The scholarship recipients will be notified via email.
  • The students need to be currently enrolled at a University to be eligible for this scholarship.
