Eesti Muusika-Ja Teatriakadeemia invites applications from graduate and post graduate international students for EAMT Scholarships and DoRa Plus Scholarships audition 2017-18. The scholarship is meant for students who have a keen interest in music.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for EAMT scholarship, a candidate must -
- Be a non-EU citizen.
- Be studying BA or MA.
- Obtain a score of at least 9 at BA level or at least 4 at MA level in entrance examination (For students who are admitted for the academic year 2017-18).
- Provide at least 'very good' result in the last examination of the main study (For students who are admitted earlier).
To be eligible for the DoRa Plus scholarships, a candidate must -
- Not be an Estonian citizen.
- Be studying in either MA 1st year or 2nd year.
- Not be residing in the Republic of Estonia on the basis of long-term residence permit.
- Not have resided in Estonia for a total period exceeding one year during the last 3 years.
- Be pursuing a full-time course of study.
- Have obtained a score of at least 4 in the entrance examination (For MA 1st year students).
- Have completed 1st year coursework with at least 54 ECTS credits and with at least 'very good' result in the examination of the main study. In case of cultural management, the average grade should be at least 3,2 (For MA 2nd year students).
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for either of the two or both scholarships with following steps -
Step 1: Download prescribed format of application form from here.
Step 2: Fill in all the required details.
Step 3: Email the application of performer along with portfolio of the student to the coordinator of DoRa programme Kai Kiiv at kai@ema.edu.ee.

Audition requirements
- For performers: Candidates have to provide a live performance of at least 2 pieces with a total duration of 15 min.
- For other majors: Candidates have to provide an artistic portfolio comprising the list of artistic activities within last 2 years such as recordings, scores, etc.
- For cultural management: Candidates have to provide a development plan and a written summary of the master's thesis of maximum 2 pages with the font- Times New Roman 12 and line spacing of 1.5.
Award details
The EAMT scholarship will cover 50% of the tuition fee while the DoRa Plus programme awards 350 Euros per month to students from September to June.
