Science and Engineering Research Board invites applications for Early Career Research Award 2017 which aims to provide support to researchers who are in their early career for pursuing research in frontier areas of Science and Engineering. The first assignment of the applicant which take place in a recognized academic institution/national laboratory/any other recognized R & D institution of India. This is a one-time award and carries a research grant up to Rs. 50 Lakhs (excluding overheads) for a period of three years. The grant covers equipment, manpower, consumables, manpower, travel and contingency, etc.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Applicant must be Ph.D holder in Science or Engineering/M.D/M.S in any area of medicine.
- The applicant must hold a regular academic/research position in a recognized academic institution/national laboratories/R&D institutions.
- Those who are appointed by the institutions against the ‘sanctioned ‘post. Such positions are regularized/confirmed after the probation period is over.
- Those who are appointed in a tenure post, but are likely to be renewed after the end of the tenure.

Step 3: Write a username, password, name, mobile, other details with mobile number and Identity proof details.
Step 4: Click I agree and submit.
Step 5: You will get an email related to your registration details.

- Certificate from Principal Investigator
- Endorsement Letter from the Head of Institution
- Age Proof Certificate (Class 10 marksheet or birth certificate)
- Category Certificate (in case of age relaxation)
