The applications are invited by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India for Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Short Documentaries Competition 2017 in association with Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. The main aim of this competition is to create awareness to promote various schemes of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) (DEPwD).
Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Short Documentaries Competition 2017
DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Open to all.
- The Documentaries should not be more than 30 minutes of duration shot with any electronic devices in HD format only.
- Can be made in any of the listed official languages of India, must be subtitled in English.
- The Short Documentaries produced in the last one year that is 9th August 2016 are eligible to participate.
How can you apply? The application can be done online only by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to the website and read all the details before applying.
Step 2: Take a print out of Authorization letter and Application form, fill them.
Step 3: Click here to submit the Documentary.
Step 4: Attach the letter and the application form.
Step 5: Click on submit to final submit the task.

Terms and Conditions
- The winners will be awarded INR 5,00,000 and the runner up will be awarded INR 3,00,000
- The award function of the competition shall be held on 21st September 2017 in Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi tentatively
