Description

DAAD Internships in Science and Engineering, WISE 2017 invited applications for an internship at a German higher education institution or at a research institute to work with doctoral students, scientists or professors as part of on-going research projects.

Duration of internship is 2 to 3 months in the period between May and July 2017. The review of applications and selection process is based upon academic achievements. and the results will be announced by beginning of February.

Eligibility

  • Students studying courses like engineering, mathematics and science
  • Must be in the 5th or 6th semester of a Bachelor’s programme or in the 5th-8th semester of an integrated or dual degree programme.
  • Aggregate marks should be 85 % and above or CGPA 8.5 / 10 and above.
  • Acceptance cum invitation letter from a German professor for the internship.
  • English language proficiency is mandatory.

  1. The applicant has to at first search for a German professor/guide, under which s/he could carry out his/her research.
  2. The applicant should select one internship only.
  3. The applicant should already have a valid passport.
  4. The applicant should not withdraw funding from any other German scholarship.
