The Council for Youth Development and Research Foundation invites entries for All India Online Essay Competition 2018 at the junior and senior level on the occasion of 69th Republic Day of India from students of Class 9 to 12, Graduates, Postgraduates and above.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for the competition, an applicant must -
- Be a student/pass out of Class 9 to 12 (For Junior Level).
- Be a student of Graduation/Postgraduation or above (For Senior Level).
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the competition online through following steps -
Step 1: Visit the official website.
Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully.
Step 3: Click here to pay the application fee of INR 100 through Net Banking/Debit Card or use PayTM application to scan the QR code and make payment.
Step 4: Keep note of the Transaction No./Reference ID/Transaction ID/Journal No.
Step 5: Click here to fill in the application form.
Step 6: Upload essay on the given topic in the prescribed format.
Step 7: Finally, submit the application form.

Essay Topics
- For Junior Level - "Why We Celebrate 26th January Every Year?"
- For Senior Level - "Dr. Ambedkar and his Contribution in Making of Constitution"
Competition Guidelines
- The word limit of the essay is 1500 words.
- The font style should be Times New Roman and font size should be 14 with single spacing between the lines.
- The language of the essay could be Hindi, English or any other Indian language.
- Upload the essay in word/doc/docx file format.
Award Details
For Junior Level -
- The first prize winner will receive INR 15,000.
- The second prize winner will receive INR 10,000.
- The third prize winner will receive INR 5,000.
- The fourth, fifth and sixth prize winners will receive INR 1,100.
For Senior Level -
- The first prize winner will receive INR 25,000.
- The second prize winner will receive INR 15,000.
- The third prize winner will receive INR 10,000.
- The fourth, fifth and sixth prize winner will receive INR 2,500.
