DESCRIPTION

The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) invites applications Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2017-18 from students of 10 to 14 years of age. The objective of this scheme is to provide facilities to talented children studying in recognised schools or belong to the families practicing traditional arts in various cultural fields.

 

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Young students of age group 10 to 14 years are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Applicants must be studying in a recognised school or belong to those families which practice traditional performing arts.

Note: The lower age limit can be relaxed up to 2 years in exceptional cases.

HOW TO APPLY

The application can be submitted by post only with the following steps:

Step 3: Click here to download the Application Form.
Step 4: Fill in the form after reading the instructions.
Step 5: There are two certificates given which must be signed by school and teacher, respectively.
Step 6: The completely filled-in application form should be sent to the following address:

Award Details

  • Selected students will receive a reimbursement of tuition fee up to INR 9000 for specialised training from a guru and a scholarship amount ranging from INR 300 to INR 400 per month. The duration of the scholarship will be two years that can be renewed after every two years till the completion of the degree or up to 20 years of age (whichever is earlier).
  • The awards will be transferred directly to the authorised bank account of candidate's parent or guardian.
  • The teachers of students who are placed under any institute or guru have to send the half-yearly progress report of that particular student. If the report is unsatisfactory or CCRT do not receive any reports from them, the scholarship is subject to discontinuation.
