About The Program

Harvard University South Asia Institute Crossroads Summer Program 2017 invites application from applicants who are pursuing graduation or graduated within past 3 years. The objective of this program is to motivate and teach intensive or multidisciplinary for up to 60 applicants by providing a 4-day educational program in Dubai. The selected applicants will receive international travel, board, lodging and class materials.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • Applicants who are enrolled in graduation degree or should have graduated from college within the past three years are eligible to apply
  • Applicants must hold a valid passport from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or countries in the Middle East and Africa
  • Must be the first family member to attend college, and also have a financial need
  • Must be fluent in English
How can you apply?

The application can be done online with the following steps:
Step 1:
Click on the application form.
Step 2: Fill the personal details and click to continue.
Step 3: Upload a personal statement of 1 or 2 pages.
Step 4: Also upload the 1-page resume or CV, documents showing evidence of recent subjects taken or grades scored.
Step 5: Provide the details of recommenders.
Step 6: Now click to continue and submit the form.

Note:

  • Two letters of recommendation have to send by recommender directly through email
  • In their email to SAI, recommenders should write 'SAI Crossroads Summer Program' and the applicant’s name in the subject line
  • Letters should offer insight into the applicant's academic achievements and their ability to take challenges
  • Letters must be in English
Terms and Conditions

Documents required to be uploaded:

  • A personal statement which describes 'why you are applying for this program'. It should be of 600 words or less and must be double-spaced, using 12-pt font size (preferred pdf file)
  • Resume/CV (preferred pdf file)
  • Official or unofficial document showing the applicant's grades or academic record (preferred pdf file)

Program details:

  • Size of class: Up to 60 applicants will be selected for this program
  • Location: Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai
  • Award: It will cover the costs of international travel, board, lodging and class materials (visa costs are the responsibility of selected applicants)
