Carnegie Mellon University Academic Merit Scholarships, Australia 2018 offers an opportunity for graduate students who are willing to apply for a master's degree course to win financial assistance for their studies. The key objective of the scholarship is to attract the very best and brightest students from all around the world.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility An applicant must -
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution.
- Have a valid score of either GRE (minimum 300) or GMAT (minimum 600) within the last 5 years or sit for CMU Institutional Maths Online Test.
- Be proficient in the English language with IELTS (6.5 overall and 6.0 in each band) or TOEFL (minimum score 22).
- Have programming experience in data structures and an object-oriented programming language like Java, C, or C++ (For applicants applying to information technology programs).
- Have a professional work experience of more than 3 years (for 12-months track courses).
Benefits The selected students will receive -

- 2 years of Post Study Work Visa in Australia (after 21 months course)
- Scholarships (between 10% and 40%) based on GRE/GMAT/CMU Maths Online test, IELTS/TOEFL scores, work experience, SOP, LOR

- Industry Based Project (1 Semester) - Mandatory
- Exchange Semester to CMU Pittsburgh (1 Semester) - Optional
- Part-time work opportunities at University (Teaching/Research/Library/Marketing Assistant)
