Classmate Whiz Quiz 2017 invites application for the students of age 9 to 16 years and the winner will receive a tablet worth Rs 10000 and the 1st runner-up, the 2nd runner-up will receive a prize worth Rs 7000 and Rs 5000. All students who have scored the highest in each level in one single window of 15 days will be given classmate gift hampers. The quiz has 2 stages: stage 1 has 5 categories and each category in stage 1 has 3 levels and each level in stage 1 has 10 question. The top scorers in stage 1 get a chance to participate in stage 2 which has 10 questions and get one of the highest scores in stage 2 and get a chance to win the quiz.
Age 9 to 16 years students are eligible to apply.
The application can be done online with the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the register.
Step 2: Enter all the details.
Step 3: There are three age categories as per the age group of the student which a student will pick while registering.
Step 4: There are 2 levels–each with 10 questions and 10 points for each question and time taken to complete each level will be monitored. In case if there is a tie in the positions based on scores, time taken would be considered.
Step 5: The student who has the same score with least amount of time taken would be ranked higher compared to the student who had scored the same consuming more time.
Step 6: Each level in Stage 1 consists of ten questions pertaining to the difficulty of the Level and the category.
Step 7: The student can only attempt level 2 after completing level 1 and the student will receive 10 points for every correct answer and no points for an incorrect answer. There will be no negative points awarded for wrong answers in this contest.
Step 8: The student can attempt level 1 & 2 only once during the fixed window of 15 days, but shall complete one level in one login and come back at another point in time and take the other level using the same email id and password within the same period.
Step 9: The score secured by the student will be considered as the valid score for evaluation. However, any attempt by the student to participate in Level 1 and/or Level 2 of the Contest multiple times within the fixed window period by using multiple identities, forms, registrations or addresses will void all of that student's entries and the student may be disqualified at ITC's discretion.
Step 10: The questions would be changed once in 15 days and the levels will open up again for the students to participate. Students who have scored the highest aggregate points in all two Levels can continue adding points once the questions change.
