About The Program

Charpak France invites applications for Charpak Research Internship Program 2018 from all students of economics, engineering and natural science background of graduation and postgraduation levels who are planning to pursue training at a French laboratory during their academic break i.e May to July 2018. The Knowledge of French is not mandatory but it can add value. There is no CGPA / percentage cut-off for the scholarship.

  • Candidate must be in economics, engineering and natural science background at the graduation and post graduation levels.
  • Candidate must be an Indian national and residing in India.
  • Candidate must be less than 30 years of age at the time of application.
  • Candidate must currently be enrolled at an Indian institution. 
  • Candidate must have taken admission/acceptance letter from a French laboratory where the research internship will be carried out.
  • The duration of the internship must not be less than 2 months and must not exceed 3 months, i.e., during May-July 2018.

Terms and Conditions

Documents required:

  • Scanned copy of the first page of your passport, If getting a passport after the deadline, please attach passport application proof. 
  • Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages).
  • Scanned copy of admission/acceptance letter from the French higher education institution/laboratory. If a candidate has not received it before the deadline, attach an email correspondence to show that candidate is in the process of getting the acceptance letter from them. 
  • Attested scanned copies of mark sheets of Higher Secondary School (XII), Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
  • French language certificate if any. 
  • Document of employment/internship record (not mandatory).
  • Recommendation letter from the university (not mandatory).
