The Centre for Global Cooperation Research/Kate Hamburger Kolleg (GCR21/KHK) invites applications from senior as well as postdoctoral researchers of Social sciences and Humanities including Economics, Law and Psychology, for Research Fellowships 2018-19. 'Pathways and Mechanisms of Global Cooperation' and 'Global Cooperation and Polycentric Governance' are the main themes of this fellowship.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for the fellowship, an applicant must -

    • Be a senior or postdoctoral researcher in the fields of Social sciences and Humanities including Economics, Law and Psychology. 
    • Have completed PhD (for postdoctoral fellows). 
    • Be willing to work at the Centre in Duisburg, Germany. 
    • Show active participation in seminars and other events of the Centre. 
    • Be willing to contribute to the publications of the Centre. 
    • Conduct personal research and publications in the thematic areas of the Centre. 

    Note: The participation of female scholars and researchers is highly encouraged.

Award Details

The selected fellows will receive the following benefits -

  • A vibrant and intellectually stimulating integrative learning community. 
  • Outstanding infrastructural facility comprising fully-equipped offices, administrative support and library facilities (along with finding accommodation)
  • Funds for organising workshops (subject to approval) 
  • Travel expenses (subject to approval)
  • Either salary reimbursement to the institution or monthly stipend equivalent to the experience.

  • A curriculum vitae
  • A cover letter
  • List of all publications
  • One relevant publication's text
