National Level Essay Competition 2017-18 is organized by Competition Commission of India. It invites application from students who are pursuing integrated graduation, post graduation, Ph.D. The students have to write an essay on the topic 'Growth of Digital Economy–A Challenge for Competition Regulators' or 'Eight Years of Competition Law Enforcement in India'. The winners will win up to INR 50,000.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility There are two categories:
Category 1:- Applicants pursuing first 3-years of an integrated post graduation course are eligible to apply
- Applicants of foundation & executive program of CS exam or joining after class 12 of CPT & Intermediate programs of CA or equivalent
Category 2:
Applicants pursuing post graduation and professional degrees or diplomas (do not come in Category I) and Ph.D.(Children and relatives of employees of CCI or office of Director General-CCI or Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India are not eligible to apply)

Topic:
'Growth of Digital Economy-A Challenge for Competition Regulators' or 'Eight Years of Competition Law Enforcement in India'.
Information regarding essay:
- The essay should not be more than 3000 words including footnotes (no minimum word limit, authors are encouraged to submit essays of not less than 1500 words).
- Typed on A4 size electronic page
- Font size should be 12 points (English) in Times New Roman
- Interlinear space
- Margins of one inch (2.54 cm) on all the four sides
Rules:
- Only one essay is allowed per applicant
- The essay should be in English
