About The Program

Bose Einstein Scholarship Test 2017 objective is to provide an opportunity to the students of class 7 to graduation to take an exam in JMMC Research Foundation, Kolkata. For the maths subject and can win the scholarship of Rs 2000 per month and one-time book grant of 3000, exposure to seminars, workshop project research base work etc. for 12 months.

Students of class 7 to graduation are eligible to apply.

How can you apply?

Application can be done online or by post with the following steps:
Online:
Step 1:
 Register your details and submit.
Step 2: Save your registration/form number and click on make payment.
Step 3: Pay now.
Step 4: Enter your form number and make payment.

By post:
Step 1: Download the form or can be obtained from the JMMC Research Foundation’s office in person or by sending a self-addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs10 (envelope size 20 cm. × 12 cm.)
Step 2: Now fill the form.
Step 3: Attach a bank draft in favour of 'JMMC Institution' of Rs 500.

Important Dates:

  • Exam date: 29th January 2017 (SUNDAY)
  • Exam location: KOLKATA
  • TIME: 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. & 1:30 P.M to 2:30 P.M.
  • Offline Admit card: 22nd January 2017 (From JMMC Office)
  • Online Admit card: 26th January 2017

Syllabus:
Class 7 & 8:
Number Theory, Equations & Inequations Surds & Indices, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Plane Geometry, Logarithm, Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning.

Class 9 & 10:
Number Theory, Theory of Quadratic Equation, Progressions, Plane Geometry, Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning, Mensuration, Set Theory, Arithmetic, Trigonometry & It’s applications.

Class 11 & 12:
Number Theory, Algebra–Theory of Equations & Inequations Induction, Complex Numbers, Set Theory, Relation, Function, Binary Operation, Series & Sequence, Logarithm, Matrix & Determinants, Trigonometry, Plane Geometry, 2 Dimensional & 3 Dimensional Co-ordinate Geometry, Calculus in one variable and it’s applications, Probability & it’s distributions, Vectors.

Graduation:
Algebra – (Classical, Linear, Abstract, Boolean), Geometry–(Plane, 2D, 3D, Transformation, Riemann), Calculus in one variable and it’s applications, Several variable calculus and it’s applications, Analysis–(Real, Complex, Functional), Fourier Analysis, Probability-Statistics, Fuzzy Set, Set Topology, Statics, Particle & Rigid Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Tensor Calculus, Vector Analysis, Astronomy, Graph Theory.

Rules and regulations:

  1. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against any student indulging in misconduct in the exam centre.
  2. The students must report at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
  3. Calculators, cell phones or any type of electronic devices are not allowed inside the exam centre.
  4. The management reserves the right to reject any student without assigning any reason.
  5. Students must carry their admit card and their own belongings (pencil, pen, eraser) at the exam centre.
  6. Students must come in school uniform. (not applicable for graduation students)
  7. Guardians will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
  8. The venue of the exam will be mentioned along with the admit card issued by JMMC Institution.
