SOAS, University of London invites applications for Bishwa Bangla Scholarships at SOAS 2020, UK from graduate students of West Bengal. This scholarship aims to support the study of ordinary residents in the State of West Bengal, India. Selected students will get a scholarship worth GBP 39,540.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be ordinarily resident in West Bengal, India
- Be eligible to pay fees at the overseas rate
- Have an offer of admission to the full-time MA South Asian Area Studies
- Meet the English language condition of his/her offer of admission to study at SOAS as soon as possible, but no later than 1 June 2020
Benefits Selected students will get benefit from the total value of scholarship i.e. GBP 39,540.

Selection Criteria
Candidates will be assessed on the basis of academic merit by an Advisory Panel consisting of at least three academic members.
Terms and Conditions
- The scholarship cannot be held along with any other major scholarship or studentship.
- Successful candidates will be notified by the end of June. If an applicant has not heard from the university by the end of June, he/she should assume that his/her application was unsuccessful.
- It is recommended to apply for the program about six weeks before the scholarship deadline (that is, by 9 January 2020).
