Department of Biotechnology invites proposal for Biotechnology Social Development Awards for the year 2016 to improve the lives of people specially the socially and economically disadvantaged sections of the society.
There are many dedicated organizations and individuals who are already contributing their best by delivering essential needs to our community like care and hygiene, generating a lot of avenues for livelihoods, empowering individuals and developing local/social entrepreneurs, manufacturing consummate staff & support.
Biotechnology Social Development Awards 2016
DeadlineClosed Eligibility The awardees can be male or female including women entrepreneurs, scientists, women social workers, social organizations, Teacher, NGO that have done out-standing work in the field of societal outreach. Scientists/teachers engaged in DBT funded projects are also eligible to apply. The terminal stages of the extension/ social work submitted for the award, including its impact assessment must have been completed during the five years proceeding the year of the award.
How can you apply? An Electronic and hard copies of the preliminary proposals needs to be submitted.
- Complete application in the prescribed format (5 Sets) with required documents should reach to Dr. Shahaj Uddin Ahmed, Scientist “D” Department of Biotechnology, Block-2, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi- 110004 within two months of publication of this advertisement.
- A soft copy should be e-mailed to shahaj.ahmed@nic.in with a cc to ksoni.dbt@gmail.com and a Copy to ninawe.dbt@nic.in

Terms and Conditions
There are three awards annually in which two is for Individuals and one is for Organization. All the three Awards would be of Rs 5 lakhs each in cash and citation
