Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Ministry of Power, Government of India invites applications from school children for BEE- Painting Competition On Energy Conservation 2017. The motto behind this competition is 'Let the young mind create pictures of sustainable future'. Interested students can paint for a clean, green and energy efficient future and can win cash prizes of up to INR 1 Lac.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - All students studying in class 4 to 9 are eligible to participate in this competition.
- Selected students shall participate at state and national level.
How can you apply? The application can be submitted by post only through school by following these steps:
Step 1: Students can select any theme given according to their group.
Step 2: Painting can be done preferably on A4 size paper with pencil, colour pencil, crayons and water colours.
Step 3: Students will then submit their entry to their respective schools.
Step 4: Schools will select two paintings from each group and send them along with the information about the participating students. (Note: The paintings duly signed by the Principal will only be accepted.)

Terms and Conditions
The theme:
Group A (Class 4 to 6):
- Ghar ho ya daftar, urza bachat hai behtar (Home or office, saving energy is better).
- Urza bachat k sitare dost hamare (Get friendly with energy saving star).
- Be polite, turn off the light.
Group B (Class 7 to 9):
- Switch off the light when outside is bright.
- No excuse for energy misuse.
- Energy saving mission, make it a passion
The decision of the jury will be binding and final. All participant will receive a certificate of participation.
