INR 50 per month (INR. 500 for 10 months) will be given to Class 5 to 7 students and INR 100 per month (INR 1000 for 10 months) will be given to Class 8 to 10 students.

About The Program
Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra invites applications for Backward Class Students In High Schools. First 2 students of class 5-10 are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Under this scheme, preference will be given to students studying in 10 Class.

Eligibility Criteria:
- A student must belong to SC community.
- Students must have obtained minimum 50 % marks in their last annual examination.
- Backward Class Student studying in Class 5-10.
How can you apply?
There is no separate application procedure for students. The list of students will be prepared by related School Head Master and will be sent to related District Social Welfare Officer, Zillah Parishad.
