About The Program

ASC-IIAS Joint Fellowship 2017 offered by IIAS and the African Studies Centre in Leiden. It invites application for the Ph.D. applicants. The objective of this fellowship is to attract researchers whose work is informed by current theoretical debates in the social sciences and humanities over global connectivities. The selected fellows will receive a monthly grant to cover the cost of living and housing.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree are eligible to apply.

How can you apply?

The application can be done by email or by post with the following steps:
Step 1: Download
the application form.
Step 2: Fill all the details.
Step 3: Attach a work plan of 1000 words maximum and a curriculum vitae.
Step 4: Also attach two letters of reference (ensure that a minimum of two letters of reference is sent to us in confidence via email or post, commenting on the applicant’s academic abilities and the value of the applicant’s research project).
Step 5: Email it (keep your email and attachments below 10MB by zipping any large files, as emails larger than 10MB will be rejected) or send it to the given address:
