The test commonly know as All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT).It is Conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VIC).The AIPVT 2015 Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) was started in 1984. The courses offered through AIPVT is Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry.All India pre-veterinary Test (AIPVT) 2015 shall be of multiple choice and reason assertion type (multiple choice). The Examination is going to be cunducted at designated centres in the country for admission to Veterinary colleges (B.V.Sc & A.H degree course) under 15% quota to be filled by the veterinary Council of India.
The Duration of this course is 5 years.The Candidate who belong to jammu & kashmir and tamil nadu they are not eligible for this examination. Candidate who wish to appear for the exam can get the complete detail of AIPVT 2015 here.
Eligibility for AIPVT 2015:-
A student wishing to appear for AIPVT 2015 should have attained the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2015
Higher Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate examination equivalent to the 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

Intermediate Science examination in the science stream from a recognized university/board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects (this should include practical test in the subjects as well) and English.
To be eligible for AIPVT 2015, students must have passed any of the qualifying examinations as mentioned above. Further, he/she should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for General Category in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at 10+2/Intermediate Science Examination. Provided also that to be eligible for All-India Pre-Veterinary Test the student must have passed the aforesaid subjects individually.
Aspirants belonging to the Scheduled Caste/the Scheduled Tribes or other special category (Other Backward Classes) as specified by the government from time to time are required to secure a minimum of 40 percent marks in aggregate.
AIPVT 2015 Registration and Application Form:-
Candidates who are interested in getting the information brochure and application forms through post, must send a demand draft of Rs 1600 (Rs 850 for reserved categories) drawn in the favour of the Veterinary Council of India- Examination Fund, payable at New Delhi.
