About The Program

AIMST is the biggest opportunity for young genius minds to showcase their talent and raise above the rest. This is a first on its kind online merit exam which can be attempted at your home. It also helps students with weaker financial background under mean cum merit based category.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • Students of Class 11, Class 12 and Class 12 [2017 pass-outs] are eligible to take AIMST 2017
  • There are two categories of scholarships:
    • Merit based scholarship- 62 meritorious students will receive scholarships to felicitate the academic excellence. Selection will be based on the students’ AIMST score and personal interview.
    • Need cum Merit based scholarship- 62 students, coming from weaker financial background and overall meritorious record, will receive scholarships to continue their education. Selection will be based on the cumulative family income, AIMST score, board score and personal interview.
  • Total number of scholarships awarded will depend on the number of applications.

 

How can you apply?

Step 1- Register yourself

Step 2- Login with unique credentials and pay an application fee of INR 249

Step 3- Complete the 5-step application form and submit

Step 4- Attempt the online exam

Step 5- The applicants are advised to keep the following documents ready at the time of application:

  • Class 10 Marksheet
  • Class 12 Marksheet (If eligible)
  • Identity proof (Aadhar Card, Voter Id, etc.)
  • Proof of family income

  • AIMST Provides an opportunity to test Aptitude Skills, General Knowledge, Verbal Ability & Problem Solving Capabilities. 
  • Students will get scholarship information and their timely alerts. 
  • Applicants will compete on national level and will be awarded a percentile score.
  • Smiling Star Advisory Pvt. Ltd is conducting the AIMST 2017 with a mission to help students, coming from weak financial background, but overall meritorious academic record, to pursue higher education.

Important dates:

  • Scholarship Launch:28 May, 2017*
  • Application deadline: 15 August, 2017*
  • Round 1 shortlisting: before 25 August, 2017*
  • Interview start date: 25 August, 2017*
  • Result Announcement: 25 September, 2017*

*The above dates are tentative.

Test segments: 

  • General Knowledge / Current Affairs: 20 Questions (1 mark each)
  • Mental Ability / Elementary Mathematics: 20 Questions (1 mark each)
  • Verbal Ability (English): 20 Questions (1 mark each)

Note:

  • Total time duration is 45 mins (15 mins or each section)
  • No negative marking.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on the AIMST score. The list will be displayed on the website. They will be called up for a telephonic round (interview).
  • Finally selected candidates list will be displayed on the website who will be eligible for cash prizes.These selected candidates will also be notified through emails and SMS.
  • Top 1000 Applicants with 80 percentiles and above will get certificates.
  • Every participant will get a certificate and a 'Buddy4Study Fellow Tag'
  • Every participant will get a free premium membership for Buddy4Study

Please Note: Applicants with family income less than INR 4 lac p.a. need to submit a proof of income while filling the application form

Q1 What are the eligibility criteria?

A: Students of class 11, 12 or 12 passed (2017) are eligible to apply.

Q2 What is the application process?

A: Firstly register yourself. Pay the application fee of INR 249 and fill the 5-steps application form and submit.

Q3 How many candidates will get the scholarship?

A: A total of 124 candidates will get the scholarship.

Merit-based- 62

Need-cum-merit based- 62

In case of a lower than expected number of applicants, the no. of prizes will be awarded proportionately

Q4 What is the process of selection?

A: For merit-based scholarship: Selection is based solely on test results and interview.

For need cum merit-based scholarship: Selection is based on the income of the prospective student and his or her family along with test results, board marks, and interview.

Q5 What are the important dates?

A: The application starts from 27 May 2017

Students can give their online examination from 1 June onwards

Test ends on 15 August 2017. It is subject to change
