About The Program

Objectives

  1. Scholarship Scheme for differently able students is an endeavour by AICTE to provide the financial assistance to the students who could not continue their higher studies due to lack of financial assistance. As supporting hand for these talents the Council has introduced the scheme “Scholarship to Differently- Able (DA) Child” to promote technical education (Engg., Architecture, Pharmacy, applied arts etc.) at Degree and Diploma levels to these students. The aim is to contribute towards the education of academically inclined DA students across India wanting to pursue technical education.

Eligibility

  1. The student should be an Indian citizen.
  2. The scholarship to students with disabilities will be awarded to under-graduate/ Diploma students of AICTE approved Technical Institutions/University departments imparting technical education.
  3. The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship/ Tuition fee reimbursement from another organization.
  4. The applicant must not have been a previous recipient of DA scholarship from AICTE.
  5. Annual income of the parents from all the sources should be less than 6.0 Lakh.
  6. Only students admitted in first year of the academic year 2014-15
