About The Program

The Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies invites applications from talented Ph.D. researchers for AIAS-COFUND Fellowships 2018. Jointly funded by Aarhus University Research and Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme of European Union, the Fellowship offers a distinctive opportunity to the researchers to pursue their research in a multidisciplinary and inspiring international environment. 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible for the AIAS-COFUND Junior Fellowship, an applicant must –

  • Be a postdoctoral researcher with a professional experience of 2 to 10 years.
  • Hold a Ph.D. degree.

To be eligible for the AIAS-COFUND Senior Fellowship, an applicant must –

  • Be a researcher with more than 10 years of professional experience.
  • Hold a Ph.D. degree.

Note: The applicants must not have carried out their work activities or resided in Denmark for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the call deadline.

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure involves the following steps –

  • The AIAS administration team will conduct a strict and consistent screening of the eligibility of the all the applications.
  • Thereafter, the eligible applications will undergo a triple-blind peer review.
  • The final selection will be performed by the Selection Committee that assesses the scores and assessments of highest ranked applications.
