1 Last Date for Submition of Registration Form is 31 December 2015. Please make sure that you fill & submit the form before the Last Date.
2 Pre-Requisites for Applying Online.
Before applying online, candidates should -
Scan their Photograph and ensure that the photograph size must not be greater than 250KB.
Please keep your Credit/Debit Card or Internet Banking Login Details ready for online Payment.
For offline mode please keep the Cheque/DD/MO ready.
Have a valid email ID and mobile number. The Registration Number will be sent on this mobile number and will be used for further communication..
3 Registration Fees:- Rs. 300.00
Prospectus : - Rs. 50.00
Old Question :- Rs. 20.00 per year
Postal / Courier :- Rs.60.00 (Mandatory if a candidate demands either old question or prospectur or both)
Payment Gateway charges for Online Payment of Registration and other Fees/Charges will have to be borne by the candidate as follows :
MasterCard / Visa / Diners Club Credit Cards :6.00%
Debit Cards : 2.00%
Netbanking : 4.75%
4 Procedure for applying online
Candidates are first required to go to our website www.nec.ac.in and click on the "Merit Search Division" to open the page related to Merit Search Division and then click on the option APPLY ONLINE to open the On-Line registration Form.
Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph in the online registration form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph.
On the successfull submittion of the form the system will generate a REFERENCE NUMBER which is of 8 digit. Please keep this Reference Number for the Payment and other Communications.
For Online payment you have to enter this Reference before making the payment. Once the payment is successfull you will get your Registration Number.
For Offline payment you have to mention this Reference No on the back side of Cheque/DD/MO. Once we receive your payment you can check your Registration Number by entering your Reference Number from Here.
5 Mode of Payment
Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees either through the ONLINE mode or the OFFLINE mode as specified in the notification.
6 Candidates should carefully fill in the details in the On-Line registration at the appropriate places very carefully and click on the SUBMIT button at the end of the On-Line Registration. Before pressing the SUBMIT button, candidates are advised to verify every field filled in the registration form. The name of the candidate or his /her father name, class, date of birth etc. should be mentioned correctly in the registration as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets. Any change found may disqualify the candidature.
7 The registration form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
8 The payment can be made by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
9 If the online transaction has been successfully completed a Registration Number will be generated. Candidates should note down their Registration Number for future reference.
10 If the online transaction has not been successfully completed then the following message is displayed "Your online transaction was unsuccessful." Then Candidates may then revisit the Submit Registration Fee (For Online Mode) link and again made their payment by entering Reference Number.
After submitting your payment information in the online registration form, please wait for the intimation from the server, DO NOT press Back or Refresh button in order to avoid double charge
For Credit Card users: All prices are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.
12 Note: There is also a provision to check the status of your registration where Form is filled Online and Payment is made Offline by entering thier Reference number Here.
13 Refund Policy & Cancellation : You cannot cancel your registration and hence no refund will be done. Once the payment has completed successfully and the Registration number has been generated then no Refund of the amount will be granted in any case. The Refund will be granted Only when the Payment has been deducted from your account and Registration Number has not generated due to any technical problem.
14 Please note that all the particulars mentioned in the online Registration including Name of the Candidate, Category, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Email ID etc. will be considered as final and no change/modifications will be allowed after submission of the online registration form.
