World University Rankings 2018

Times Higher Education (THE) has published its globally acclaimed report of World University Rankings for the year 2017-18 enlisting top 1000 institutions worldwide. Every year, THE compiles and publishes this report featuring Universities/Institutes across the globe highlighting the overall performance, teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook as the key parameters of rankings. Competing for the spots are more than 2150 educational institutions spread across 93 countries.

Who took the top spots?

While none of the Indian institutions made it to the top, renowned institutions from USA, UK, and Switzerland fetched the titles. California Institute of Technology and Stanford University tumbled down the order losing their respective spots from number 2 and 3 to number 3 and 4.
