First step for applying student visa is to apply to a SEVP-approved school in the United States. After that, if SEVP-approved school accepts your enrollment, then you will be registered for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and you have to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.

After completing first step, they need to complete their online visa application form with all the necessary documents uploaded such as offer letter, passport size photo, copy of passport and many more documents.

When your application form for Visa is accepted, you will be called up for the personal interview and you have to clear that interview to get the student Visa.
