The eligibility criteria for the fellowships vary and but two common criteria are that you must not be a part of any academic, research institutions or NGOs, and you should not have already received a grant from any other entity.

The general eligibility criterion for junior fellowships is that you must have a master’s degree or a Ph.D. with 4-10 years of relevant experience. The general eligibility criterion for senior fellowships is that you must have a master’s degree or a Ph.D. and with 10-15 years of relevant experience, with a verified aptitude to carry out an independent research program. The educational qualification required for Autism and Dyslexia is master’s degree in psychology (general or a relevant branch), education or counseling, and for Public Health is master’s degree or Ph.D. in public health or community-based medicine - MMBS/MS/MD.

`National Overseas Scholarship 2017-18              

The government of India organizes National Overseas Scholarship every year for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, other tribes, and artisans. The intention is to offer financial assistance to academically brilliant students who want to complete their postgraduate studies. To be eligible, the candidate must be below 35 years and have an aggregate of 55% in graduation. Selected candidates are provided financial support up to completion of their respective courses.

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship 2017-18

Sitaram Jindal Foundation with its scholarship 2017-18 aims to provide the fundamental needs of students in various fields without bias. The scholarship is basically directed at the students coming from a financially weaker background, who dream of completing their studies but, are unable to do so due to financial hurdles. Any Class 11 to a postgraduate student, who is eligible as per the rules can apply to for this scholarship, and if selected would get up to INR 2000 per month.

Geddes Scholarship 2017

Going by the name of the ground-breaking town planner Sir Patrick Geddes FRSE, Geddes Scholarship is for those who want to make a career or have immense interest in town planning and architecture. The scholarship duration is 6 months, where the participants are made to understand the tidbits of town planning. If you pursued Planning and Architecture at a post-graduate or research level from a recognized university or institution or you are a practicing professional within the age of 20 to 30 years, you can apply for this scholarship and win a scholarship worth INR 45000.
