Ultimate guide to prepare for JEE Advanced

It is every engineering aspirant’s dream to get into an IIT as it is considered as one of the best institutes to offer engineering courses in India. The second concern that strikes every students is how to get into this premier institute or how to prepare for engineering entrance exams. To get admission into any of the IITs, students need to clear two entrance exams – JEE Mains and JEE Advance. Before going for JEE Advanced it is important for aspirants to clear the JEE Mains first. Once they clear the JEE Mains then they are one step closer to get admission to the premier engineering institute.

In India, thousands of students appear for JEE Mains examination but only a few clear it and get a chance to appear for JEE Advanced examination. The pattern of JEE Advance is quite different from that of JEE Mains and the students, who are for the first time appearing the examination, need to know how to prepare well for the examination.

For an aspirant, it is important to focus only for JEE Advanced, keeping aside all the tensions and excitements for the JEE Mains result. Self-belief will help you boost your confidence in critical times.

Know your syllabus

Before starting preparation, it is necessary to know your syllabus as without knowing it, one cannot proceed ahead with clarity. Whether preparing for JEE Mains or JEE Advanced, students have to follow the same syllabus. One of the best tips to prepare for JEE Advanced is to revise the syllabus in a significant manner.

Set a target

When you have clarity on the national level entrance examination for IIT admission, it is necessary to set a target which has to be achieved daily by the aspirant. Try to solve at least 60 problems in a day in all the subjects and always aim to achieve high.

Do take note of mistakes

Revision is one of the most effective ways of learning. Always try to make notes of your mistakes so that you can be careful for future purpose.

Time management is crucial

In the process of preparing for the JEE Advanced, it is important for aspirants not to waste time. Time-table plays a crucial role in time management, you need to reduce the time where you waste it. Speed up your capability of solving questions and it can only be possible through practice.

Strategize your preparation

Try to strategize your study according to previous year’s papers and give online mock tests as much as you can. By giving tests online you will be able to get to know how effectively you deal with them and how much time do you consume in attempting these questions.
